Susan G. Komen for the Cure was established in 1982 by Nancy Brinker to honor the memory of her sister Susan G. Komen, who died of breast cancer at the age of 36. - Lympho-Maniac Fundraiser
Lympho-maniac Founding Member, Chad Landry, was treated for Stage IIB Hodgkin's at East Jefferson in 1995 and has been in remission (cancer free) over 13 years later. He began the fundraiser in 2002 to raise money for cancer research.
